  30. A couple weeks ago Axiom sent me some junk mail
  31. about getting an upgrade from Pixel 3D 2 to the
  32. current Pixel 3D Pro.

  34. I believe the policy of Axiom is that they will
  35. develop no new Amiga software, but they're 
  36. still more than happy to sell their existing 
  37. products.

  39. Amiga product tech support at ASDG last month
  40. assured me that there would be updates to 
  41. ADPro and MorphPlus shortly. (I know "shortly"
  42. is a very relative statement.)

  44. ASDG/Elastic Reality has reduced the development 
  45. effort of their Amiga programs, but there still
  46. will be updates and Amiga Tech Support (while it 
  47. is now available only 3 hours in mid-day) still
  48. exists. (There was a post on a newsgroup a couple
  49. weeks ago where ASDG was trying to unload a lot
  50. of their Amiga hardware -- at fairly unreasonable
  51. prices.)

  53. ASDG/ER Amiga Tech Support (while it *does* exist) 
  54. is now extremely pathetic.  I called and talked to
  55. someone namesd Curtis about a problem I had with
  56. MorphPlus.  I had previously mailed a set of files
  57. to them.  Curtis said he'd look into it and email 
  58. me right back whether or not they got the files.  
  59. Over the past couple weeks I've tried to call 
  60. Curtis, but he's never "available" and I've sent 
  61. email, but I never get any sort of response.  If
  62. I was making a living with their software I'd be
  63. really pissed off.

  65. So, I'm beginning to consider getting ImageFX.

  67. In any case, neither company is out of business or
  68. has *completely* abandoned the Amiga market, so 
  69. considering their products as PD stuff is still 
  70. theft.
